Since spring 2020, the Czech consortium Alliance TW Team (marketing name Pragoimex) has been supplying 21.65 m long and 2.56m wide EVO2 articulated cars to the Brno transport company DPMB under a CZK 1bn contract. These are also known as 'Drak' (dragons) in the regional capital of South Moravia. The 100% low floor car bodies are produced by KOS in Krnov and then delivered as kits to Brno, where final assembly takes place at the company's own workshop at Medlánky, with electrical equipment from Starman Electronics. Each carries up to 170 passengers (50 seated). Delivery of the first series of 41 cars (1822-62) started in 2020 and will be completed in 2025.
Because the EVO2 have proven reliable and in order to keep applying the know-how gained from the assembly of the first series, DPMB announced in late January 2025 that it would purchase up to 60 more EVO2 kits from 2026 to 2033. These single ended LRVs should be 21-23 m long, offer 100% low-floor access, be able to negotiate curves with a radius of 18-20 m and feature air-conditioning. Factory built EVO2 trams can be seen in Plzen, Most–Litvinov and Liberec in the Czech Republic.
