On 2 July the Île-de-France Mobilités board approved several key developments for public consultation. The east–west metro line 1 (La Défense–Château de Vincennes) will be extended further east over 5km with three new stations to reach Val-de-Fontenay at a cost of EUR 1.7bn, providing interchanges with RER lines A and E, metro line 15, tram line T1 and the BHNS bus service. Completion is planned for 2040. Tram line T10 (La Croix de Berny–Jardin Parisien) will be extended north to reach Clamart Gare providing interchange with metro line 15 and suburban rail service N.
This extension will include an underground section of 3.8km and should cost EUR 730M in total. Tram line T7 (Villejuif–Athis-Mons Port de l’Essonne) will get a 3.7km extension to Juvisy-sur-Orge offering interchange with RER lines C and D and linking them with metro lines 7, 14, 15 and 18. With EUR 110M already approved for this project a second financing agreement of EUR 100.25M has been put in place. Passenger service is expected in 2032.
