Denver RTD celebrates 10 years

This month saw the tenth anniversary of the Denver Transportation District (RTD) W line. This line was opened as part of their FasTracks expansion in 2013. 

 

As well as their signature 6th Avenue bridge, other features inlcude unique art installations and nearly 36 relay stations wrapped with art designs which passengers can freely enjoy as they ride the train.  

 

Since opening, the line has carried approximately 36.7 million customers and traveled an estimated 18,986,000 miles. The service conducts passengers to educations centres, sports centres as well as being a commuter route to t,some of the area's largest employers.
