The 23 500-capacity arena Co-op Live, created at the Etihad campus, opens on 23 April with a diverse opening season, and the operators have teamed up with Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) so the concert tickets can be used for tram travel to and from the Campus for four hours before and after each show during the opening season.

The Campus is served by the Ashton-under-Lyne to Eccles service every day. Travel on commercial bus services is not included. Post event bus shuttles will also be available back to Piccadilly Gardens.

Fran Wilkinson, Customer and Growth Director at TfGM said, ‘It’s an exciting time as the fantastic new Co-op Live prepares to welcome some of the world’s biggest stars to Manchester - we want to maker sure that everyone gets to and from their show as quickly and easily as possible. By choosing public transport you can dodge the traffic and with tram and bus shuttles included with your ticket, you can also save yourself some money’.
